The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Monday, met with the national leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities over the crisis between university lecturers and the Federal Government.

The meeting took place at the Speaker’s office at the National Assembly complex, Abuja.

Gbajabiamila, who briefed the leadership of ASUU about his meetings with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), said he expected that the strike would be called off “in matter of days.
